DQS has established a Long-Term Agreement with the UN’s World Food Programme.
World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian organization commited to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition. Just in 2017 WFP purchased more than 2.9 million MT of food from more than 600 suppliers originating in 115 countries. Their action in food assistance reaches more than 80 million people in 75 countries each year. 945,000 MT of this food is processed.
To ensure the food safety and quality, the WFP’s FSQ Unit now established a Long-Term-Agreement with DQS CFS, covering about 50 supplier audits per year based on the GFSI standard. The audits will be conducted across all continents.
To contribute to the world’s human health, DQS, as a certification body, has provided foods safety certification service across the globe, covering standards such as ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, IFS, HACCP, and BRC. Meanwhile, DQS Academy delivers public training courses to help customers understand the standards.
